Digging Around

My other half has gone offshore for the week and this is the first of many many weekends for the next 9 months that I will be home alone.

As usual, once I am being left to entertain myself, I get into all sorts of 'mischief' at home. More often than not, hubby comes home and will find something new or something has changed in our home. This time, it will be what I usually do, and do best. Digging around the garden again. Left the house early today to meet Petrina for brunch at the Kelabit coffee shop (oh I must write about this wonderful place one day), and then drove up to my favourite nursery near the airport.

Today I bought more heliconias and a jasmine plant, to compliment the one jasmine that I already have at home. The heliconias I got this time are Sexy Pink and something that looks like this.

So far, I have been blessed with healthy and flourishing plants at home, and the existing heliconias are doing well. I do hope these new ones will grow fine.
