Cleo

My dog Cleo is still sick. She has EPI. She is now just skin and bones , unable to gain any weight as a result of her inability to properly digest food. It breaks my heart to watch her like this. And yet, she braves each day to come nuzzle my palm and wags her tail enthusiastically as if nothing is wrong.

When a pet has become so much a part of your life, it is ever to hard to not to feel her pain. I admit, I have thought of putting her 'to sleep' to get her out of her misery. At the same time I am not sure if I will be doing it for my own selfish reasons on not wanting to try harder to find a cure? But I have read all there is to read on EPI and unfortunately EPI is not well known in this country and the help network is non existent.

Cleo will go for a more thorough check-up next week to see if there is anything else aggravating her condition. We shall see how it goes....
